Genetic health tested for different Pug related health issues.
Our Pugs are examined to ensure hips, patellas and eyes are healthy.
Come with a one-year genetic health guarantee.
Examined by our medical team at 8 weeks.
Vaccinated and dewormed before they go home at 10-12 weeks.
Free 30 Day Trupanion Insurance is provided.
We follow the Puppy Culture protocol which creates smart and social puppies.
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) is used to improve performance, trainability, and health.
Litter trained using a litter that is compressed recycled newspaper pellets (Yesterday’s News).
Kennel trained puppies as well.
A $100 application fee, once paid, will begin the application process to get you on our waiting list. This will begin your journey to become a part of our Nelson Pug Puppy family.
A $200 deposit is not due until your spot on the waiting list and a puppy is ready for you.
All deposits will be applied to the total price of the puppy.
WE DO NOT REFUND DEPOSITS AT ANY TIME.

As a responsible Dog Breeder, the health of our Pugs is first and foremost. We carefully screen potential owners to make sure they understand exactly what is required when it comes to taking care of our puppies. We understand that we may not fit into your budget. That is ok. We believe in health, education and kindness.

OUR PUGS ARE OUR LIFE
We are Nelson Pug Puppies: Wendy, Jen, Avyn and Jaxson.
This is where our story begins…
It was the day before Jen’s birthday and unbeknownst to me she was looking for the birthday present I was to give her. That gift, a true gift was Nancy Nelson. We fell in love with her sweet personality, her goofiness and loyalty. Jen had experience breeding dogs throughout her life. She believed that Nancy would make a great mom. She was right!! (Jen is ALWAYS right).
We raise our Pug puppies right in our living room, so they are exposed to everyday life with teenagers. You know, yelling, door slams, whining about having to do chores etc.
When Avyn isn’t cuddling your future puppy he is busy singing, dancing and acting, hanging out with friends and working.
When Jaxson isn’t letting your future puppy crawl on him as he sits in the play area he is playing video games, preparing amazing sushi for the family, studying, traveling and participating in AKC conformation shows as a Jr. handler.
When Jen isn’t taking selfies with your future puppy she is sending Wendy articles with info about breeding, keeping Amazon in business, doing yoga, floating in the pool (weather permitting) and trying to figure out how to get Wendy to go camping. Jen is also a dog groomer. Jen has owned Doggy Day Spa for 20 years.
When Wendy isn’t doing a Facebook Live starring your future puppy she is feeding puppies every 2 hours, weighing puppies twice a day, cleaning up after puppies, following the Puppy Culture protocol, setting up health testing, registering the litter, working with future families, signing up for AKC conformation shows, making sure the boys are where they need to be, washing dogs at Doggy Day Spa, researching best breeder practices, boring the family with stories of “back in the day”, laughing, and playing Candy Crush.
It takes a village. We couldn’t be the best without: Shawn, Sue, Lori, Jane, Celeste, Alex, Tina, Marsha, Kadyn, Richard, The Willming’s, The Blake’s, The Hoeper’s, The Schmidt’s and The McCurdy family.

PEPPER (MIDNIGHT BLACK OF ALEX GOLDENS)
Pepper is on his way to becoming a champion. Pepper enjoys agility training when he is not in the show ring. He is Dolly's brother from Serbia.
FRODO (CH FANTASIA'S BONSAI SO FAR SO GOOD)
Frodo became a champion before age 1. He is a handsome and loving boy. He has a great future ahead of him.
MONDAY (CH CASA BLANCA'S MANIC MONDAY)
Monday is a champion we use as a stud. He is owned by Barry & Blanca Clothier. We are grateful for their partnership with us.
BODHI (GCH CH FANTASIA MYSTIC BOO DIAMOND)
Bodhi is a handsome Grand Champion with a sweet personality. He is owned by Susan Koehler, who is our Mentor.

WHAT IS PUPPY CULTURE?
Puppy Culture is a program developed by Jane Killion, professional dog trainer & breeder. It is a comprehensive, organized program for breeders to follow during the first weeks of a puppy's life.
The first 12 weeks of a puppy's life are incredibly important. This is an almost magical time when a breeder has the power to change the outcome of a puppy's life by what we choose to teach him. By doing just the right things at just the right time, we can give your puppy the best start possible.
This is seriously an incredible amount of work, but it is 100% WORTH IT!! When you adopt your puppy, you will be just as thankful as we are for this program.
